cctlds?

Mornin folks,

What are your thoughts on obscure tlds - I've found one where I can register literally thousands of great 3,4,5+ letter domains.

Does the crappy tld overpower the greatness of the domain, or is it the other way around?

depends on the ccTLD, .co.uk is great, .ca .cn .us are some other good ones but there are crappy ones. Be sure you meet the ccTLD requitements before you register though

Oh, I know it's a crappy one - because it's all but impossible to register there. Found a way in, now want to decide whether it's worth my time.

Unknown ccTLD´s does in general not have any value, in most cases not even regfee. But you might be lucky to have found the next popular ccTLD

For all intense and purposes unless you plan on development these ccTLDs can be considered worthless, I also know of many cctld's that still have great domains available but I would not touch them unless I am planning on developing these.
