.pn domains

How valuable are .pn domains? There's like msn.pn and abc.pn and all these nice names availiable, but I don't know if it's worth the 10/month to register them?

Hi,

Could be interesting, the main problem is that even though the search shows them as available the chances are that someone has already put in for it.

Basically it seems they are open up to everyone, but I guess that the good ones will be reserved for themselves or people willing to pay a premium.

Anyway have put in for one myself just out of interest so I'll let you know what happens.

However I could be wrong

Its a ccTLD, stands for Pitcairn Islands.

I think the valuable one is " ES.PN".....
but it is registered for a long time........

I ever registered 5.pn and 8.pn....
but I give up...
if for month biz-->$10/month-->$120/year
if for year--->$100/year

still a little high...

Well I don't really see much value in them unless you are going to keep and develop them ( much the same as other esoteric domains and TLD's ). Having said that I just got my confirmation through that I now have :

casino.pn

Which I'll develop a site for and see what happens.

Probably the best domain in .pn is virtual.pn
If they state the zone for 25-30 per domain per year it could be quite popualr me think

$100 a year for .pn? My vote is no, just because go to www.domaindiscount24.com and see all the other semi-suspect extensions with good names available.

its too high its not worth unless u develoop it. since .pn is not polpular and will take time to rise and even need to come down in price ... 100$/yr is too much for a cctld

Here's something of interest.

I was playing around with my casino.pn and decided to do a search for it to see what turned up. Here is something from last year :

To quote the bit I was interested in :
' Sedo also showed that the keyword "casino" can draw a nice price in any extension as they sold casino.pn for $3,698 '

Well, i received today a mail from some company intrested in www.nclex.pn
Its a company related to nurse test exams called Nclex-pn
They asked about a price

It is a popular term, are your sure they were from a company connected with that or just another developer ?

If you dogo through with the sale please let me know how you find the transfere as I have not sold a .pn ...actually I doubt if many here have

Thanks Finda, but is just an affiliate program that gives you all the HTML. If you want to develop a quick casino site scroll to the bottom and click the 'Casino Affiliate Link' it is a quick way to build a site whilst you decide what to do with the domain.
