I want to register a .co.uk domain. I only want it for 1 year and I want to register it so that I can push it to another user for free, like on eNom and godaddy.
you can't actually register a .co.uk for 1 year only - 2yrs is the minimum that they allow you to do. I have a lot of them and have never found anywhere that you can do register them for that amount of time. I think it is an actual requirement with the registrar.
Try using abcreg.net - they have a free account with a push system
Also, you can get one from the Web site in my signature; Godaddy-like administration and everything

try in the personal details section pascal although I dont know if this is possible. The guy that runs the site is a stickler for security so the domains will be safe there - just do't forget your extremely long and incomprehensible password!!
I like the admin panel, the prices, and the registration speed.
Sometimes the customer service turnaround is a couple of days, which definately needs improving.
Beware though, registering .uk names means that if you sell, under recent Nominet changes, there is a £35 registrant transfer fee which will have to be paid if the legal ownership is to be transferred.
Thanks for the inspiration, guys... Thanks to this thread I was reminded to check a (previously detagged) .co.uk domain name that I had wanted/watched for a long time, and lo and behold, it was available, so I reg'd it. And not at UKReg.com -where I have my other .co.uk's and which has great prices, too- but at the recommended 123Reg.co.uk.
