![]() | Pointing other urls to one main url 1.) How do you point several urls that you own to one url you are currently using as an online business? Do you have to have hosting for those other urls too just to point to one main site? 2.) Do you recommend to just make those other urls inactive and hopefully someone offers to buy it from you? ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-newbies/140343-pointing-other-urls-one-main-url.html 3.) Do the word(s) in a domain name render itself searchable in search engines? For example, if someone types in "legal document assistant" in the yahoo search box, and your online site url is www.documentassistant.com, does that mean your site will show up as one of the searches? Please help! Just registered today. Thanks! Pantigbox |

![]() | Thanks bentong. I will use the search box next time -- it was just a little too hidden for me to recognize. In any case, how about my question #3? Do terms in the domain name itself render those terms as part of the search process in a search engine? |

![]() ![]() ![]() | about your third question a name it become searchable if the words are separated by hypens www.document-assistant.combecause (google bots) interpret the hypens as commas (or spaces, i don't remeber) . That makes in some particular case the use of hypens profitable. Just consider this info it is at least one year old, I am not updated and google boots are often updated so it could be no longer valid. Maybe some more expert could confirm it.

![]() | Thanks for that reply. It helps a lot. I will research for a more updated answer regarding my question since you said that Google changes their domain name policies. I checked out your site and I like the business you run. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | thanks for compliments, well I am not shure about they change their domain name policies, I just know they change the algoritms for their robots, maybe that could in some way affect their policies regard Domain names, I dunno.
