.info question

I know they aren't as good as dot coms but can I make some money from a .info? What is an example of a figure a .info has sold for? Thank you.

Taylor

barefoottech has had 1200 .info domains for a while.

If you are a beginner, I recommend starting very slowly. Think very carefully before buying a domain.

I think most people are overlooking the best way to monetize .info's in this thread anyway ...... You are thinking of selling them already - Why not think of Developing them and let them set a while ? If You can't profit from them this way ..... you really need to choose a different Industry to play in

So .coms are the most profitable way to invest then.

If I owned something like sony.info or like splintercell.info... how much would I be able to grab for those? Even microsoft.info I'm just thinking those could sell for ALOT... am I right or wrong?

How hard would it just to make a few hundred? I'm in my teens and unemployed currently and a lil extra income like that wouldn't hurt too much.

Would have to agree with you Mark, although a pickup like Medicine.info which sold for $25K earlier this year wouldn't go astray.

A couple comments
!/ Sum total Outlay is in region of $2000 USD, I have Single .com names worth more than that
And in case any one wonders, only 20 where directly obtained from the .info giveaway last year.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-newbies/134911-info-question.html

2/ My GF Makes more than me and has her own portfolio of .info's (2 LOL)

3/ Mark , (AKA All4Cost) hit the nail on the head . I didn't buy a single one of these names to resell as ""Premium Names" ,but all are expected to pay their own way. With a low purchase price .info's only have to earn 3Cents a day to earn their keep .

well i have a quetionn after see all ur post here:
is important to develop a domain 4 example create a site 4 this domain to get money 4 this domain?
or a domain itself have a value?

exist thecnical parameter to know the value( monetary value) of 1 domain?
may be a matematical formula to evaluate if a domain is good, and this stuff.

.infos definitely needs development for better value unless the name is very popular like popular city / country. I've seen high OVT famous celebrity names going for very less without development.

.info s dont go for much alone undeveloped. The market for such domains isnt that good. And you cant get much more than low $xx except where the domain name has a worth of its own. To get a good bargain for .info domains, develop them first !!
