Domain name help!

hi i am going to create a website for the purpose of selling cuckoo clocks; could you please tell me which domain name you think is relevant....

i have chosen

cuckooclocksltd

or

gocuckoo4clocks

ok cool.....does any1 have any other names so that i can widen my choices of domain names? & does any1 know where in london i can find shops that actually sell cuckoo clocks so i can take pictures of em?

Actually something like cuckoo4clocks might get you some name recognition in the american market due to the resembalance to cuckoo for coca puffs that was long used in cereal commercials. As for pictures if you are getting your clocks from a supplier they should be able to supply you with pictures to use. Or perhaps a google image search for cuckoo clocks would turn up some non copyrighted images you could use.

cuckoo4clocks.com is taken and it appears the owner has been selling clocks under it since 2003. He has a page rank of 3 so must not be doing to bad.

I would ask for any available names to be sent by pm so that they are not registered before you choose them

I'm sure you can find a supplier that does dropshipping if you search on Google. They would be able to provide you with the photos and most likely the descriptions for your website. That way you can sell them, but won't have the hassles that go along with having a physical inventory, shipping, etc...

As far as the names go, I personally don't think either one is all that great...but if I was to choose from those two then I'd go with the CuckooClocksLTD.com. I'm sure there are better options out there though for a name. It necessarily wouldn't even have to contain "Cuckoo" then you won't be limiting yourself just to cuckoo clocks. Perhaps a more general clock name so you can add additional kinds of clocks in the future if you'd like.

they are both pretty long but the first one does the trick, try thinking of a shorter name like cuckooinc or ckclock
