????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=134415 That is a terrible idea ..... You do realize that a hijacker can request these domains be transferred to their account .... and if you don't respond within 5 days - They will be transferred Now think about what you just said ....
If you do not like Godaddy's Email Spam .... I'd suggest another Registrar , Not Avoiding your email account(s) for your domains ....

????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=134415 But believe it or not, the amount of spam may depend on your registrar. Part of ICANN regulations require that registrars offer to sell bulk WHOIS data, so anyone who wants the database of WHOIS info from any registrar can buy it. It's sold on a per registrar basis, and its left up to each registrar to decide how much to charge for it. Buyers are not supposed to use it to spam, but that doesn't seem to stop them.

![]() | Yeah I meant "whois" spam, cuz thats the only way they could of got my email address. I'll probably set it up so those godaddy emails are forwarded to my main email but emails from anyone else get marked spam. |
