how do you sell domains?

here is question:
if you have nice domain how do you sell it?
1. you wait until buyer will find out about your domain? risk not to be found
2. you target buyer and write him? risk to show, that you are interested to sell it, which is mean to go lower in price.
any other tactik?
thank you

I sell domains there all the time. So my answer to your question is "very good", provided you have a very good domain.

EDIT:
"what is the chance to be found in Sedo for example?"

A better answer would be: A lot better than if you DON'T list it! :-)

well if you list it in one of the live auctions here it will be sold. Might not be for very much but it will be sold

leviathon is on a distinguished road

I use Sedo the most. Just park it there. You don't expect to park one today and get requests tomorrow. So be patient. Use others too, but most likely (in my experience) Sedo gets most traffic..?

You can also post in several domain name forums that you're selling those domains. Who knows, there might be members who are interested.

This idea might not be good, since it might seem that you are too desperate to sell the domain and he would certainly give a very low price.
