Question What is wrong with registering using Yahoo?

Teach me. From what i can figure, if the buyer has a yahoo id...you can give them full control of the domain name.

nothing if everything goes smoothly.

if you have problems, then that's where it starts to hurt. yahoo has a very slow reponse system!

That's why you call them and you have a response in under 3 minutes.

Well it depends. I've used Yahoo's domain services a lot lately ($2.99/yr), trying it out.

The 24 hour service's remarkable! Still dunno much about the rest of its services though

Even though I've never been a big fan of Yahoo!, I still trust large companies such as itself

yahoo can also charge your credit card whenever they want- they charged mine 4 times just to sign up for "free" yahoo auctions.

Yes that'a a nice thread. I posted my experience there too... took them 3weeks+ to transfer my domain...

It can't be the problem that they're too busy, since transferring does NOT require manual management, but automatic transmit. So, either their server's overloaded or they suck.

Their customer service isn't the best either. I bought a domain off of a guy and we never got to go through with it because yahoo kept emailing back crap answers, things that weren't even related to the question.

Q:"I would like to transfer my domain to another person"
A:"We understand you would like to sign up for a free yahoo mail account..."
