domain selling newbie

hi everyone!

could someone tell me that what im about to do is correct?

im planning on offering other people to register a 10-year registration of domain name (preferably in godaddy). i understand that i can register and park domain names with unexisting websites and then advertise it, and then transfer it to someone who wants buys from me;

however, since im not good at picking names, i am planning on first asking my customer-to-be what domain name they want to register. if it still isn't used yet, that's the only time i register at godaddy.

plese reply with your feedback thanks!

Hi

Not sure if I fully understand what you are trying to say but if a name is available a customer would go and reg it for reg fee. Yes you can buy, park and wait for customers and sell at a higher price, hopefully.

How would that work?

1. Ask customer what domain name they want

2. Customer says I want "xxxxx.com".

--> IN that case, the customer could register it themself

3. You register "xxxxx.com" for 10 years

4. You park it and get revenue

Then what happens?
