registered at godaddy, the whois displays like this

Registry Status: CLIENT-UPDATE-PROHIBITED
Registry Status: CLIENT-DELETE-PROHIBITED
Registry Status: CLIENT-RENEW-PROHIBITED
Registry Status: CLIENT-XFER-PROHIBITED

I want to buy this domain, but everything seems prohibited. Is that because the owner locked the domain, or this domain has some problems with it?

Yes, that means it is locked. If you do buy it the owner will unlock it first
