offers of .info domains

is it true that no other sites out there has free .info domains anymore? I started getting interested in domains just a while ago so i searched around for the free ones and I found some about sites handing out free domains last year's fall. But now it seems like they arent doing that anymore ... T_T anyone know if they still have those out there?

The free .info's were part of a promotion by the .info Registry to stimulate interest in the TLD
Several US and Foreign Registrars gave them away for various periods between September and December Last year
There is plenty of them now starting to come up for renewal and available for little money.

Anyhow a lot of registrars , Have new .info's registrations for as little as $1.99USD on sale
NamePros sell them For 150NP$ which is Approx $2.50usd

Some company proably started doing that and friends would get as many as they can not tell any body and give them out. I guess that ended, but im sure somebody out there will possibly give you one for free. Also on this site (NamePros.com) they are very cheap, about 100 something NP$.

Yet another example of people who don't read previous postings. I had already stated 150NP$ .
The .info promotion Brandon had nothing to do with friends giving them away.
And as I stated this ,all finished December 31,2004 for the last of the companies giving them away.
