And now my noobish question:

We all know that Sedo, DomainSponsor, GoldKey etc have the rights to ban who promotes/incentives traffic in his parked domains to get more clicks on the ads.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-newbies/116486-and-now-my-noobish-question.html

But.. what happens if someone grab a deleted domain, full of backlinks like "join the best travel community", "meet thousands of travellers" etc, and then park it?

Let's assume that the domain continue to get thousands of daily unique accesses - and so a lots of clicks on the ads; is the owner ok or is the traffic considerated "fraudolent" or something like that because it partially comes from (now) "deceiving" links?

Is it a good idea to buy a bad site for cheap and then just park the domain? Or this could be a problem?

Thanks,
JDT

I've reged' a few domains that generate thousands of 'visits' every month from old, obsolete links. However, virtually NONE of this traffic is clicking on any of the ads. So, I don't see it as a problem, because people who get to the site from an old link are expecting to see something else, and just close the window when they see it no longer exists.

There IS a chance that you get a domain that generates tons of traffic and they DO click on many of the ads... but I think the PPC companies are sophisticated enough to see what is happening and will give you some leeway if you can show them the facts.

But just in case, it's a good idea to watch the traffic on your sites and tell the ppc company about it BEFORE they place any blame on you... so if they DO see a suspicious pattern, they will know it's not your fault.

It's also a good idea to maintain a great working relationship with your contact at the ppc company so they know you as a person... not just as an account number.
