Transferring live site's domain to another registrar...

If you transfer a domain that is connected to a live site to another registrar (in this case, Network Solutions to probably RegFly), will they also transfer the DNS settings so that the site is not down during the transition?

depends who ya use, but most of the common registrars keep the existing information during transfer, not too familiar with registerfly so maybe someone else has done this before and can tell you for sure.
