Talking Does The Hurt

Ok I know im not really a newbie as such but would just like your opinion on something before I buy it

I have found a fab name with a fab extention but it has 2 words The being the first.

The second word on its own, I know would be worth XXXXXXXX but they all work well together.

My question is, yes I know it is worth so so much less but does THE ruin it for you altogether??

Your thoughts and if I buy will let you know

greatdomains is a good place to work with, but there are many great domains that they do not accept that sell for a lot of money. If you really believe that is worth it, then get it. If the name is still available for registration - its only going to put you out $8 so its not that bad of a deal.

Hope this helps and good luck with your endeavours

I wouldnt classify .TV as being a fab ext... If you want PM me the name and I will give you my honest opinion.

Sure, GreatDomains thinks .TV is great but then again they are in cahoots with them if I remember correclty.

Well as an avid .tv follower and track Most sales that go on in this ext and first let me tell you Most .tv exts are not reported. Elequa buys .tv all the time you do not read about them In DNJournal and they are x,xxx to xx,xxx purchases. I agree. it is not a fab ext. you must be selective, match the ext LCD.tv Plasma.tv Kids.tv any name with a the and the .tv is probably not desireable. You can make some mistakes with .com $7 you can always sell for $3 no biggie you cannot do the same with .tv DOT tv is probably much bigger around the world especially England then it is in US.

Its not Cahoots Tippy between GD and .tv but they are owned by the same company so there is an agenda. Verisign owns GD and DOT TV Corp.

Yes I agree. .tv is getting big in the uk but as you said you cannot make too many mistakes when buying them

I think the best thing to do, (like with all extentions now), is not to look at the past because its all done and tied up but to think about what may be in the future
