The price you paid for you first domain?

I remember when I paid $30 for my first domain name through network solutions. It was blessedbeyondmeasure.com I no longer own the domain. seems kinda high now. But I am certain that some of you paid much higher.
So my question is, how much was your first domain name? and where was it registered?

I paid $100 for each of my first domains through Network Solutions, for a two year registration. This was when NetSol was the only registrar in town.

I think it was about $15. Sent in a money order, as PayPal wasn't huge then.

Same here, at good old NSI times back in 1996 I spend for a few domains thousands of my hard earned bucks.
Today, fortunately, they are at 10% of that cost

I think it was US $119 through alldomains.com , the worst thing was I never even got the domain
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-newbies/115850-price-you-paid-you-first-domain.html

I had to pay by bank cheque as I was too young for a CC and after a month i still hadnt heard anything so I was emailing them asking about it and a couple of weeks later got told the domain had now been taken and to pick another one, when chose another one, nothing happened again , after 10-20 emails and a couple of months I ended up 100 bucks out of pocket and with no domain !
damn that was a few years back, still p*sses me off

Initially $100 for 2 years at NSI when they had the monopoly, then later at $70/2 years when prices dropped.

I then remember finding a site called discountdomainregistry.com that was one of the cheapest on the net at $14.99/year, and a Tucows openSRS reseller. At the time they were super with about the only site that offered free parking, forwarding, email, etc. I think joker.com was cheaper at the time by a buck or so, but I didn't like the idea of German law stated in their registry agreement.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=115850

Later, I found godaddy and moved about 100 names there at I think about $10...only to find out they still had a hefty transfer fee if you sold a name. I then moved on to registerfly and enom when prices dropped below the $9 level.

I paid $35 for my first .com domain, over at register.com many years ago. Definately a good thing that prices have come down, wouldd be a little expensive to renew all 60+ domains I have today if the prices still were the same
