hello everyone ... sorry if its an irritating question well i was trying to open a domain and it says that this page cannot be displayed as if the site doesnt exist ... but when i wanted to register it, it says it was registered, so id like to know that how come theres no FIRST page specified ? i hope u understood what im trying to ask ... thanks in advance ..

It can be a possibility that the domain is not pointing to a legible/valid nameserver
Then it will say page cannot be found, plus if someone had taken off the index.html/php file from the root and listing is denied

It is not an irritating question. A domain Name when registered doesn't automatically give it a web Presence .

The Name has to be pointed at either a Park page or to a Web-site . This is done by Setting the NameServers
(Usually available in Domain Management where your Regged the Name)
to the Correct setting given to you by
either the Parking Page provider
(Either the Domain Name Registrar or PPC Park company like Sedo,Fabulous etc.)
or for a WebSite the Nameservers settings for the WebHosting Space where you will be setting up the actual website.
