Anyone here know what does the co in the .co.uk stand for?

A lot of other ccTLD's have the .co instead of the .com
for example .co.in .co.cn .co.nz
And the .com & .co is usually taken as meaning commercial

Yes co. is More often used as contraction of Company.
But
commercial is also very much an English term

Regardless of what .co stands for it generally means the website has something to do with coporations and/or business.
