I was contacted earlier by someone, and they pointed out a few things to me about adult affiliate programs. I have only been into the adult afiliate program since Febuary 2005, so not long at all. So others input would be nice.

I was asked to check my stats on various affiliates that I have promoted with galleries, and to look at visits the galleries have made vs the hits to affiliate. Then I was asked to check stats vs each affiliate against eachother. What I found was affiliates that use CCBILL showed mass hits from the galleries vs the ones that have their own stats.

Like one gallery that used CCBILL had 10k visits, and over 3k hits to the affiliate. Where other that used their own stats, with same visits to gallery only had 60 hits.

This person that contacted me says these adult affiliates don't give credits for hits and signups like 80% of the time. Is this right? I have nothing more to go on other then the outragious difference in hits from one gallery to the other. Basicly he said they scam people from their affiliate pay.

Very confusing for me to say the least, and maybe this is just a newbie lesson?

Just an update here.

I have had a nice PM from a namepro member that explained how some affiliates count clicks. This makes sense, and now I have some more understanding about how things work.

some affiliates do give you CMP credit , but most 98% do sign ups... if you need any more help just hit me up and I will guide you
