Seems that Alexa is listing the most trafficed domains and hosts rather that actually content sites. Googlesyndication.com is listed as nr. 19 but just redirects to Google.com and is the domain used for Google Adsense. Same for doubleclick.com don´t think that many people actually go directly to doubleclick.com
