2nd most valuable domain names

hi,

forget the value or meaning , it is agreed that 2 character .com/.net/.org domains are the most valuable , rare , difficult to own since there are just a very few combinations possible and that the fact that they are all registered!

viz. alphabet+alphabet combination possible 676 combinations
numeral+numeral combinations possible is only 100
num+alpha / alpha+num combination possible is 260

now that 2 character domains are very difficult to acquire , what is the next most precious / valuable / difficult to get domain name possible.

i think the next most rare breed of domain names are 3 character .com/.net/.org domains with a hyphen between them for ex 0-0.com

possible combinations are equivalent to that 2 character domains

viz alpha-alpha -> 676 combinations
num-num -> 100 combinations

what do you folks feel?

what are the other types of domain names next to impossible to get? what are the most valued domain names?

The theory is ok, the problem is the aspect of marketing.

Many companies have a chance with, say abc.com with the branding, over 0-0.com

I myself own 5-2.com and picked it up very cheap. Yesterday, about 30 x-x.com domains dropped.

So, alas, as the buying market see it, the x-x.com domains are almost pointless, unlike the xxx.com ones

can not one buy x-x.com for cents and develop it??

for "adult" biz guy, that should not be difficult,
especially all his biz would related to XXXXX.

yea my stats are correct, they are not stats actually they are the max possible no of combinations.for ex for an alpha-alpha domain there can be only 26*26 = 676 combinations (a-z is 26) and so on

I personally do not see much use/value for x-x.com domain names unless they are developed, or recognized! Good luck!!
