    | How's this for feeling stupid, or Yet Another TDNAM Thread. It's getting a bit old already... Won an "auction" at TDNAM, got excited, paid immediately, found out that a domain was renewed, got refunded, blah-blah, yada-yada... THE IRONY: one credit card charge, one credit refund = two transactions at 3.5% each of the total. The credit cards are most likely processed through Verisign merchant's account, so what you witness here is basically GoDaddy making money for their competitor Verisign (Verisign regulates .com/.net and owns GreatDomains.com aftermarket sector). D-oh! |
