opinion on name value

I know the general opinion of most concerning hyphenated domain names, but I was wandering about B-daygifts.com. I know that Birthday gifts is highly searched ( several thousand/day) according to overture and word tracker, does that make the name B-daygifts.com good or bad? or is it irrelevent? Does the shortened abbreviated version with the hyphen make the name not desirable? B-day is used quite often (IMO) and is widely recognized like Xmas is to christmas..so is this a good name or not? i guess what I am asking is: does the more common use/recognition of "B-day" in reference to Birthday make a difference in this case with the use of the hyphen? or is anything with a hyphen in it not desirable?

"b-day gift"- 2.2 Overture searches/day.
"b-day", (w/hyphen) 27 WordTracker searches/day.
While these are not outstanding results, it does show some good promise for the name, particularly when viewed in the context of the name's branding potential, (ie, it's got a head start). In addition, "gifts" is a VG search term.
The .com version is definitely a good prospect for development and worthy of registering, IMO.

Thanks, I was comparing it with the entire birthday gifts search..but I do know that the way it is spelled "B-daygifts" is the way to search it..I had already registered it thinking it had good marketing/development potential, but was second guessing..so your feedback helps..thanks again.

Pretty nice find. But next time put it in the appraisels section. Deffenatly nice though high $XX IMHO.

probably not, I really didn't pay attention, I was looking only for the one I registered..

Not neccessarily the case. It's OK to post names here for general discussion. Sometimes people want to get a general opinion of a name or ideas for use w/o having it appraised. "Marketing Techniques" is also a possible alternative.
