| Do Current and Active Links to a Domain Hurt the Value? As an example; I have a package deal that I'm looking to sell, but one of the main domain names has a slight but very underdeveloped online presence, and it does have current links that are related to the URL's obvious content use of the site.
I was going to start a forum under the main URL and later develop a FULL service website for additonal related uses, so I built the forum, indexed it on the search engines, got a few links going to it, and then never really used it, nor have I really even marketed it. However, it is indexed and it does have current links going to it. The website indexed description and meta-tags would take anywhere from 3 days to 2 months to be cleared of its current header on the search engines, but the links would most likely stay for a while. So does any of this hurt the value or does it help it?
I believe it the domain name in question should appear in my signature so I won't type it again here so as to not be redundant.
