I think as far as resale value goes, you are correct. Major keywords might hold some value to someone planning on developing the name themselves mind you, but it would have to be a very popular word, perhaps term, like Cars.bz Music.bz Games.bz etc...

Valuable only for personal development or maybe for SUPER keywords as Tippy says. For resale, stick with the gTLD's.

Even .biz is somewhat lacking at the moment, but it as at least a more informed speculative play than .bz is.

Also, a very difficult to brand ccTLD that will cause typos to .biz. Imagine a word of mouth / radio / tv ad for penicillin.bz ... chances are high that the listener will type through to penicillin.biz

So, IMHO, yes... .biz has essentially killed .bz is a major way.
