cheap .ie domains?

Hey,

I may need a .ie however the prices are putting me slightly off.. the cheapest I can get one for is 55 euros.

If anyone knows any cheaper sites i'd be greatful if you shared them

This is the cheapest i found.

www.cloch.com at $56 a year which is about 43 euro i think.

There must be cheaper somewhere.

thanks, however I have now found you have to have a site related to "ireland" in order to buy a .ie I think.. if any one has any more info regarding ireland domain names please reply. thanks.

It seems like that.. is there any way to get around this?

dont think so, I have a great .ie domain name I want but the domain or site wouldn't have any thing to do with ireland

lol where did you get that from? do you mean you have to be an irish citizen to reg a .ie ? I strongly doubt that your site has to be irish related lol.

The site itself does not have to be Irish related but the company or organisation that is registering it must have some sort of link with Ireland such as Irish customers or suppliers etc that can be proven with a copy of an Invoice or something.

Either that or a European trade mark.
