   | Domain round table Does anyone else think that it is very expensive for a conference? If i read correctly it was $620+plane+hotel  Dont Think I will be able to attend (plane alone would be a good amount) |

  | Not really in today's World - Most any seminar / conference worth visiting will be in that range - I've had to do "Continuing Education" (PDH's) in the past that were way above that (And Boring as Heck !).

| do you really need to goto a domain conference? Since domains are not tangible objects, it seems that a sort of online conference could be created. heh

    | If your a hobbyist no you do not need to attend a conference. If your a companyt making real money in this business SEDO, DOmain SPonsor, Fabulous, Buy Domains etc.... yes. If your a prominent forum owner (RJ) yes, If you are a serious domainer and it is reasonably close to your Locality? probably. It could be in the $350 to $400 range IMO. This industry is looking for legitamcy and professional conferences and trade groups help facilitate that |
