I've never paid THAT much for a domain before, dangit. I hate auctions that extend automatically after a late bid, lol. Coulda had it for 65 bucks, ended up paying 1K, ouch!!!

Well, I gotta sell some sites now, to make up for this!!!

I was bidding on a domain at snapnames.com , had it until 4 minutes left, some guy bid $61. Snapnames automatically added 5 minutes or so to the auction. I responded by bidding it up, snapnames added more time, the other 2 guys bid on it, snapnames extended the auction some more, time it ended I was out almost $1,000..... but I got the domain

I hate auctions for that reason. "I HAVE TO WIN!, but I don't want the thing I am bidding on that much."

Heh, not as much as it's worth....but all that I had, lol. If it had gone $20 higher, I'd a been toast. It's the primary keyword for my niche, with a little luck, I'l have a site up and earning 10s of thousands of dollars annually...

Been waiting 6 years for this one to drop!

The domain is www.CanvasTarps.com . Not too exciting for yas, I know, but then I own a tarp shop ( with affiliate program, by the way ) . I have sold a HUGE amount of poly tarps over the last two years, from little 6x8 tarp for log piles to high school and minor league baseball field covers. Canvas tarps cost at least 5x as much, and have a higher margin, so good things will happen for me with this domain ( and for my affiliates, hopefully ) .
