Escrow Service Help

Hi

I possibly have to do a one on one sale but wanted to use an escrow service to be safe for both of us. Does anyone know of a good one that doesn't charge too much? Thanks so much.

3% (but minimum $50) - Sedo Escrow - for example

Sedo Escrow takes forever in my limited experience. The biggest domain escrow is Escrow.com, which is efficient. The safest Escrow is Moniker Escrow, and I've heard good things about new kid, eCop.com, which is probably cheaper.

Never had a problem with sedo's escrow service, nor with escrow.com.

in case value of the transaction is less than $6K and as a seller you need international wire transfer(charging $40) then i think sedo is better choice.

For transactions above $6-7k definitely escrow.com is my choice.

Moniker is TRUE escrow (they take cash and domain into possession) is very efficient, a decent registrar, and cheaper than other escrow services. Escrow.com is a little more I think but isn't a registrar so doesn't handle the transfer of the domain.

I usually use Sedo. They are good at guiding when the buyer is a end-user who doesn't know anything about domain transfer and such.

If it's other domainers then I usually just do a PayPal up to $1.000. Above that then Sedo or Escrow.com.
