Brandable or Keyword-name, which one is superior?

I have been thinking about this..
Is brandable name worth more than keyword names?

names like Zanga, Zynga, Xanga, etc.
are they worth much more than names like onlinegames.com freeonlinegames.com, freeblog.com, etc.

i have two domain names
one is sophie.fm, one is amusic.fm

one is obviously more brandable then the other, though the other one has the word music as keyword.. which would be better?

Hard to say, I prefer names like mentioned such as onlinegames.com as there is a definite way to develop them and therefore I have an idea of what they may be worth...

Brandables to me are like a shot in the dark though, no one will now say that Google isn't one of the top names of this type but it wasn't always so...and I am not the one to ask about them lol

They can be worth a lot of money but if you are not buying them for reg fee they come with a lot greater risk.

.FM as an extension is fairly useless anyways, but as you have already seen they can be very good for music related stuff.

Everything with domains must be taken on a case by case, there is no be all and end all answer, what is worthless today could be worth $1000s in a month or two. You just never know.
