Need an opinion

I am developing allfoodmenu.com
should I get allfoodmenus.com ?

Which is more correct?
The singular form or plural?

I did a google search "food menu" has 114 million results
while "food menus" has 25 million results

I did a google trends http://www.google.com/trends?q=food+...ate=all&sort=0
I see that technically more people are using the singular form.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-name-discussion/645606-need-an-opinion.html
Which is the domain name I have.

Should I register the plural form?
My basis is that "all" makes the food menu itself singular but someone told me that it should be plural to be more correct. But doing a google shows me I am right to have the singular version....

Need some inputs.

Thanks.

I think the plural is more intuitive.

If nothing else, redirecting the plural to your singular would catch those who would navigate via the plural.

If it's regfee or cheap domain name, why not?

Good luck with your project!

mtown934 is an unknown quantity at this point

I feel like allfoodmenus.com is definitely more correct but if at all possible I would pick up both domain names and have allfoodmenu.com just redirect to allfoodmenus.com. That would solve any problems for you.

Thanks for the info, the allmenus.com was bought by campusfood.com, campusfood.com is the parent company, they buy out alot of the little guy. And they take a lot of internet spaces, with more than 20+ names operating on the net. (that's just 1 of them).

BD POV:

ie. Sedo already has a site, why use something else?
Google is the best search engine, why make another one?
There's already the financial times, why read something else?
I have a Ford I don't want any other car.
There's already namepros on the net, and its already developed.
I drink coffee for breakfast, I don't need anything else.
There's already dot com, why use other extensions, its just redundant!
There's already enough colleges and universities around, why create another one?
I like the color of blue, I don't need anything else..

So why does campusfood.com need to have 20+ different sites ? why don't they just close them all down and use 1 ? Why do pepsi or coca cola have like 100+ brands and still acquiring others ?
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=645606

The answer is.....Everyone has an opinion and we all do not agree what is best.

I feel if I didn't give a complete answer someone else may mentioned, something similar is already on the net. Which defeats the purpose of innovation and small businesses.

So as a thread creator, I just had to rant+++

Yes, I see some of their other sites too. Restaurants will spend alot on physical marketing like flyers, menus, newspaper ads but will not spend on online advertising, must have to do something with their mentality growing up in the 80s. ...Makes the job harder to sell. :-)

I agree, even if you offer free ads, they still may not care.

All Food Menus is the no-brainer if you are choosing between those two (hopefully there is a 3rd choice though).

The restaurant industry is arguably the toughest of them all. Something as obvious as online advertising is not a secret silver bullet.

It comes down to local eyes, something that is difficult to buy online unless we're talking about a big city. Whereas you know that everyone who sees a newspaper ad is a potential customer.
