3D is DEAD! Get on the 4D train now!

Just look at these awesome hand regs I grabbed:

4dviideocam.com (Typo!)

finda4Ddateintahoma.net (Geotargeted! And everybody knows dating is a hot niche!)

onetwothreefourdee.com (Brandable! Memorable!)

4Dcabbages.com (generic product -- "cabbages" get huge search volume, just imagine what it will be in 4D a few years from now!)

????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-name-discussion/644106-3d-dead-get-4d-train-now.html
No, seriously -- why is everyone going crazy over 3D domains? A couple of 3D movies are out, just like in the 90s, the 80s, the 70s, the 60s, and the 50s. There's lots of talk about 3D becoming standard for certain venues and types of films, but 1) that talk resurfaces once per decade since before my mom was born, and 2) if something becomes standard it is no longer a buzzword -- so the modifier becomes redundant or at best passé.

Seriously ... if it isn't related to stereographics or other visual/audio media, what is the point to registering anything with "3D" in it?

3d movies from 90s, the 80s, the 70s have a very bad quality (Red Green glasses)

The new 3d Movies in 3d Movie theaters are digital. Have a look RealD 3D Experience | Regal Theaters

And the 3d TVs are HD.

That is the difference.

Best Regards

So very glad you were being satirical. I almost went into convulsions thinking you actually were regging those names

/QUOTE]

Well, 3Dhooters.com popped into mind...(just checked - it's taken)

I agree that often either the technology doesn't take off, or it does and the name becomes redundant. At best, most tech names are at high risk of being made obsolete and worthless by newer technologies. That's why I prefer the low tech stuff, like furniture names. Rockingchair.com never has to worry about rocketchair.com coming along.

Save a Life
Stay in school kids.

There is plenty of potential with hand-registrations of existing products that have search volume.

It's a lot harder than arbitrarily inventing keywords and sticking "3D" in it.
