Cancer Survivorship Breast Cancer

Question Does anybody actually sell to anyone else in our "Domains Wanted section?"

Ok, I don't get it. We are all in the same business, trying to make a few bucks trying to sell domain names. So, I always check the "Domains Wanted" section.

I see where a lot is wanted, traffic domains, 1 word domains, and so on.

But then I see what most everybody wants to offer for these...nothing.

Seems like evreyone wants these "great domains" with lots of traffic, but want to pay you $5-$10. Is is just me??? How does everyone else feel, or think about this?
is this just somewhere people are looking, and getting bargains??? Have anyone actually ever sold a domain here for other than $5-10, or reg fee???

Frank

I don't think everyone wants to sell for $5 or $10. For example I'm looking for traffic names and willing to pay 9-12 months revenue. Some people want good names for cheap to find a bargain, but not everyone. My 2 cents -.-

Do you mean buy in above? that's my point, I'm sure everyone doesn't want to sell for $5-10. I think you agree people are just looking for bargains there?

Well in a way you're right. People have names they want and they post them there. They pust low prices, because they're hoping they can get a bargain. Who wouldn't want one? On the other hand, some people put Budget Unlimited, etc.

I think I see where you are coming from Frank this is not a retail market here potential prospects are in the same business and know the business( hopefully) Everyone think their names are worth xxx to x,xxx but want yours for $10, that is frustrating.

The problem, as I see it, is that most of the people asking for a name very rarely ever appear back in their thread! You see a hundred replies with names etc. but the thread starter rarely appears again. It seems to me that some just like to ask for "short .coms with traffic" or "$20,000 budget" to see what happens...
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=63810
Before you start freaking out, I know there are "some" actual buyers, but I know a lot feel the same as I do because you see a lot of "Is anyone going to reply" in the threads. I still look once in a while to kill time but I can't be bothered.
I think a lot of people use the thread as a way of broadcasting their names for sale to others who might be reading (like me) as opposed to actually sending it out to the poster....Why not I guess...
It is a most bizarre scenario to me but one that I get a kick out of.

My 2 bits worth..

Jim

I've sold a couple of names in the low $x,xxx range in there, but many of the buyers (and sellers) wants to keep the names/prices away from the public, so nothing will be posted about it and no trader rating will be updated either..

I had the same experience in here and on eBay with keeping the sale anonymous. However I sold 3 domains in the wanted section for about low x,xxx total. I think that many are very specific as to what they want and we all want the best possible price we can get. I think that this forum stands out as the most friendly domain forum on the net period. One other which I will not name is so rude I would not sell "7yh894093.info" for a million dollars if I had the offer. Great job to the NamePros staff!

Thanks Geoffe. maybe that's it, we just don't hear of the $XXXX sales. But, that is very good news, and does give us guys who hope to sell a domain (if it's really worth it) for some bucks. Yeah, I agree, NamePros, is the friendliest. We do have a few rude people, who I have seen in other forums. Maybe they will mellow out from dealing with NamePros people. What does a person gain from being rude?

Good luck. My practice, if I have the money. $20 first into the $1 slots, (2 coin) $2 the first spin, $1 at a time after that. If you are lucky, you will win, and you can then play on their money for part of the day. I like the 5 Times Pay.
