You're not insane....

You're just.... un-insanely chalenged

So someone with enough money to advirtise on TV didn't have enough money to pay registration fee so they had to get a reg from someone who was stoned when they regged a domain (I thought those were the Dutch not Irish, or well it could have been Irish, just replace stoned with really really drunk)
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-name-discussion/62902-am-i-going-mad.html

I hope no Dutch or Irish people were offended by the comment above.

"Addidas.com sell for $32k.....??"

I wonder if that means I can reg niike.net and get money like that.

It's not worth a shot, atleast not to the Irish people

For majority of people .com = Internet ....

????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=62902
Imagine that you have to convince them that they will have 'Internet web site' but with .org (what is that? And it misses a y.. )...No way, they will have the .com so that their site is on the 'real' Internet...

Just now, the President of the United States made an appeal to all Americans to donate to the Tsunami relief. He mentioned the web address...

So long as you say WWW, people will think it is the Internet.

Yeah, exactly. If they were going to skip using a .com for a ccTLD, why go with a UK one instead of an Irish one?

Looks like this might have defaulted. I see it back in the Public auctions list at $2,000.
