Yes I know, but some are better and easier than others, Im looking for the best option. Like CoffeeMugs.ae would be less profitable as say...Travel.ae or Hotels.ae

This is one of those questions that does not have a 'right' or 'wrong' answer generally.

If you are asking because you have no knowledge of the subject matter and do not intend learning such then any of them are capable of development, all be it development that would not generally entice a visitor to return!

However, if you have a knowledge in any of the given areas (and they are varied to say the least) or you are willing to acquire the knowledge then again any are worthy of development. You should compare the likely competition you would face in the market, so for example, 'Pizza', 'Weather', etc. are already hugely targeted by developed sites. In comparrison if you were to develop 'Silver', 'Pets', 'Clothing' these are possible sites whereby an individuality of development could entice visitors to return many times to the site/s.

Just my 2 cents.

Thanks TheBaldOne, I appreciate the comments, I totally understand all the different variables involved in this and all could be great sites, but I am just looking for some opinions to narrow it down to around 3 names, just to see if "my 3" are the same as other domainers.

My choice would be

1) Golf.... number one by a long shot !

FORE !

2) Flights

3) Resorts

4) Weather

Link them all together and you have a pretty nice little network going

I chose Flights - combination of higher search volume and highest CPC but lots of competition, of course.

Also, SolarPanels - more focused product niche, relatively high paying CPC, compared to others, but less competition so maybe easier to rank and could be a growing trend?

But what do I know...?!

I would also consider "gazzip" suggestion, Link them all together and start your AE network.

Don't start all of them in the same time. Start with two websites then go with the third and etc ... just so you can stay focused. IMO

Also, start with the strongest!

I think you need to look at what products you would monetize with. For example clothing may be good but there are lots of returns in clothing so if you are affiliate marketing then you may have issues.

Weather..how would you monetize it. Would you sell weather related goods and services? Ads?

Golf...always popular. But you have a very very broad category there and lots of competition. So how hard would it be to find your niche and turn a profit.

Cosmetics...hey I am in this one and I looooooveeee it! Very very competitive. My competitors have thousands and thousands of links. I had to carve out my territory.

Resorts - in this economy people are buying what they need to relieve pain ie broken hearts, hair loss etc. Not luxury though there is always a market. It is a harder nut to crack.

Go with resorts.ae

There are a lot of them and they are all competing for business. They also have advertising budgets where the other industries don't.

You might be able to set up a CPA or CPL type of program with the individual resorts, fight for %'s though.

Clubs.ae - Saturated & Established

Pizza.ae - No $

Golf.ae - Possible, never once saw a golf course advertise in Dubai though

Flights.ae - Market not strong enough

Weather.ae - No $, plus it's virtually always the same, sunny & hot

Medicine.ae - Possible for medical tourism, but hard to monetize

Cosmetics.ae - Market not strong enough

Hey Smith, thanks for the detailed comments.

The Solar names are receiving a little traffic, I think it will only increase, especially with places like Masdar being built.

I think Golf has massive potential especially with the current courses and the new ones going up.

I noticed that you have pizza(dot)ae. There is a site called 800pizza(dot)ae. I have a really hard time trying to understand why they didn't also reg pizza(dot)ae... Or were .ae domains really, really expensive or somehow restricted until recently? Is .com the prominent extension in the UAE?
