Client hold Status

Hi!
I have some questions. One of my domains was moved to "Client hold" Status.

Domain Name:domain
Created On:date
Last Updated On:date
Expiration Date:date
Sponsoring Registrar: Directi Internet Solutions Pvt. Ltd. dba PublicDomainRegistry.com
Status:CLIENT HOLD

I have contacted to Registrar.....but there is no answer yet.

The questions are:
1. what means such status? Is it something like domain was suspended? by Registrar ?
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-name-discussion/599788-client-hold-status.html
2. can I transfer my domain to the other Registrar ? This status allows transfering?
3. wouldn't be any problems during transfering domain in such status?
3. what status will be after transfering to the new Registrar? Also Status:CLIENT HOLD ? Or OK/ACTIVE status?

Thanks!

Are you seeing this status via Whois or at the Registry?

Is the name expired? A .org name? Client hold can mean the domain is expired, your renewal failed or there is an ownership dispute. You can still renew the domain during this period but can't transfer it and DNS resolution is not possible as long as the status remains on hold.

Contacting your registrar was the right thing to do. You will have to wait on their response.

Well, seems your domain name is in the redemption period. You can still renew your domains by paying some additional amount to your registry. Meanwhile, you can not transfer your domain name if it is not renewed explicitly.
