Anyone get an email from this guy? (Hes an NPer but hasnt been on since 07).

Apparently the concept is to buy advertising for a few pennies, then if someone pays more for the same slot - they then get their website listed next to the domain name. If you are the top bidder for 5 days - you get the domain name.

Whats to prevent the site owner from bidding against someone else so they dont win a domain name? This concept just feels scammy.

Yep, got a bunch. I consider it spam; it all went to the trash.

Whether it's legit or not, if one can't market something properly, it's, perhaps at best, not well thought out or, more likely, another scam of some sort.

If the HumanBrains emailer is a user here, they should purchase advertising on NP and other related forums - it would add credibility to their service, as well as bringing in more clients.

RE: HumanBrains.com

Domagon & Spade -

I am a fellow domainer. This is not a scam by any means. The email was sent out to let others know about our new website. If you have any questions you can always contact us on the site via email and/or live support. Also, I am in the NP chat room everyday. Handle: "SWD"

Thanks,

Ethan
