Domaining- What's your etiquette?

Domaining - What's your etiquette? - Amateur or Professional?

????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-name-discussion/593131-domaining-whats-your-edicate.html

Is your etiquette as a domainer professional or unprofessional?

In other words, is your presentation to end users worthy of consideration or is it simply an attempt to 'wow' an end user to buy your self-valued domain?

Have you outlined the obvious benefits of your domain asset to the end user or are you simply hoping that they will realize this themselves?

Better still, would you, yourself, be impressed enough to even consider your own email presentation or would you simply add this email correspondence to the trash bin?

I would love to hear how each of you, as domainers, have professional etiquette in contacting end users.

Your response is welcome....

It's simply a set of rhetorical questionings that are designed for domainers to give themselves a self-evaluation as to emanating a more professional image.

Respond if you like....

The best question I'd ask is this: If you see a domain that interests you, think of whether or not you'd have paid anything -- as an ENDUSER -- over reg fee for it. IF you say yes... ask yourself why.

That can save you from a lot of heartache.

"Emanating" a professional image usually involves spelling words correctly, and that includes etiquette.

Thanks again JoshuPz.

You're absolutely correct. Proof reading and spell checking a client proposal should not be overlooked.

Spelling was revised.

Thanks,
