Question More .cc domain hype!!

I am posting this here, since I am not actually asking you to appraise a word.
What would you value a word, which is long (12 letters), but shows 258,000,000 searches on Google. This is with the ""XXXXXXXXXXXX" around the word!! It also has a score of 2688 on Overture. I can't reg it for a couple of days, is why I am not saying what the word is.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-name-discussion/57860-more-cc-domain-hype.html

With that many searches, do you think it has more value, or can you not tell without knowing the word??

I reg'd delete.cc, thinking is was great with 104,000,000 on Google. I submitted to www.GreatDomains.com, but they rejected it. Is this another word like that, especially since it is much longer? This word is very generic, and can apply to just about any field.

Any input????

You're looking at available references to the word or phrase on Google.. not # of searches performed... sometimes low Google but high OVT is better on my opinion.

12 letters and 2688 (I'm guessing monthly) is not good at all.

Delete is short and a good keyword but you'd also have to look at the applications of the term to determine it's usefulness as a domain.

Isn't it searches for the word, when it has the quotation marks before and after it??? In this case, it is the same with them, or without. The same word has 5,550,000 without quotation marks, and 5,460,000 with marks. Thanks Dave, more input??

Nope, even with quotes, all you're seeing is the number of times that exact word or phrase appears on the web... it's not the number of searches being performed, just how common or rarely used that word is.

Sometimes a smaller Google means less competition geeting your site to the top, so long as the OVT is strong.

See my PM...

Agree, 2.6k Overture isnt high at all. I only registered one .cc because it had 800k Overture, I wouldnt consider anything with less then 100k monthly myself. Stick with kewords, always safer.
