TM Problem Avoidance

Hi, I would like to solicit advice regarding the use of domain names that are close to trademark violation, but still OK to use without opposition.

Example:

viagra.com- owned by Pfizer
click-viagra.com- owned by a 3rd party pharmacy site
viagrapunch.com- owned by a 3rd party

Does this mean, that as long as you tag-on another word, like viagrainformation.com or viagramarket.com, etc. you are unlikely to get sued by the parent corporation?

As alway, thanks for your time and input.

You should probably post this one in the Legal Section ~ But - No - Just because you add a word to a TM phrase/logo doesn't clear you at all - Your name still contains their TM - Ebay has hit people on just using "Bay" in their name ~

Good Luck ~

there are so many possible domains you can make with one TM word... its highly unlikely, unless you advertise it, that you will get in trouble for it.

Like ive always said... unless you are interfearing with...or hurting a company that owns a TM you are using... i dont think it should cause much trouble.

just MHO
