Please Help...Search Terms for a specific niche...

Hello,

I have (most likely) a simple question for the Pro's.

I have a specific niche (service) that I need a domain for.
There are about 4 exact keywords that describe this service.
Of course they are all gone, in every extension.
So now I have to look for some 2-worders, or 3-worders,
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-name-discussion/554080-please-help-search-terms-specific-niche.html
to get my point across.
I could try different prefixes, or suffixes, such as...

"keyword"24-7.com,
A-Z"keyword.com,
"keyword"Pros.com, etc.

Everything I have thought of is gone, except for...
The (niche) Pros.com

It is a 3-worder with the word "the" in the domain.
I am not REALLY happy with it.
I believe there has to be some better domains possible...

This is how "I" search.
I know there is an has to be an easier method.
There has to be a site to search for available keyword phrases, etc.
or there must be some great tools out there for my specific
keyword search.

Anyone with any advice, or knowledge of free tools, or sites to help me out in my search...
would be greatly appreciated!

Thank You.

I really like BustAName as a brainstorming tool, it has a lot of good options to help you find a decent reg fee domain. Have you tried emailing the owners of one that is already registered to see if they will sell for a reasonable price? You might end up getting lucky.

I have not tried contacting any owners of domains that I like.

Looking back over the attempted businesses (failures) I've had there seems to be one common factor. Either I haven't had the capitol to do it right, or I've been unwilling to spend the capitol to do it right. Here's your chance to learn from my mistakes.

If the business idea is good enough don't go into it half hearted. Go for broke, get a loan and buy the primary .com from whomever owns it. Don't settle for anything less than the name that gets the most typeins for your target market. In this case you aren't a domainer you're an end user so think like one!

If on the other hand your not so sure I wholly reccomend not bothering to invest at all. Instead just find a sub par name and focus on seo. Don't squander your resources on a project that isn't going to net results.

-------

To answer your original question though, for the best tool to find a domain there really isn't an answer. Many of us all have our own formula, tips, and tricks to help us find good quality names. My own process I won't reveal, but if you want to PM me with specifics I'd be willing to run your target through my process. I might find something you might not have thought of. Sometimes it just takes an outside perspective.

Lastly I've posted in the wanted section here on N.P. when I wasn't able to pull a good name out of my hat. If you run dry of ideas its a good last stop before you pry open your wallet.

Hey LexisDomains,

No, to your question.
It is not a business dealing with selling niche keyword domains.
I wish I could divulge the exact term,
but I will create a very close sample.
Let's say my keyword is..."marketing"
Of course it isn't (just similar for the sake of explanation).
So It would be awesome to own
marketing.com
marketing.net
marketingsite.com
imarketing.com
i-marketing.com
etc. etc.

So, as I search for creative prefixes, suffixes, 2-worders,
3-worders, etc.
I have only come up with THIS domain.
The"marketing"pros.com

I like it, but I know there has to be something better out there.
I am just not sure how to find relative highly searched terms with my keyword, other than...brainstorming.
I know there has to be tools out there that I could throw my keyword in, and there should be some suggestions...

Something that would identify other words that may be highly searched WITH my keyword.
Like...marketingsolutions,
marketingsite
marketingpage
marketing24-7
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=554080
etc.
etc.

I was just hoping someone could steer me in the right direction.

Blaknite,

As for your reply,
Yes money should be no obstacle for me,
and I should try to grab THAT perfect domain,
from a seller.
Finances just warrant a different perspective for me right now.
My perfect domain would be....extremely out of my budget.
lol
Thank you for your advice though.

try the "I" "E" or "V" previx for your name.

Also, if technology or online related "Cyber"

You coul look to put an "HQ" suffix on it. Other Suffixes to single keywords might be "house" "Hut" "Shop" "Place"

Until we know the keywords though I t is hard to get better advice. good luck
