Godaddy: Auto-Renewal & Authorisation Code

In Godaddy, is there a way to change a number of domains auto renewal status all at once rather then one by one?

Also, is there a way to get the authorisation code for a number of domains rather then having to click on each individual names to get each code?

I have many names in Godaddy & this takes forever to do them one by one!

Yes. you can select some or all of your domains and change the auto-renew and other options all at once from your main domain control panel.

To get the auth codes, Go under TOOLS and EXPORTABLE LISTS. You can generate a list of your domains that will include the Auth codes. You can also use this to export a list with EXP dates that you and post here if you sell them.

besides clicking on the check-box next to the domains you want and then clicking on the action you want (eg. change autorenew , change account , etc) , which is mentioned above ... there is also another way , which is especially good if you need to to pick many domains from many pages , but not all your domains (if you want all your domains you can choose the Select All Pages option which appears when you hover on the tick above the check-boxes)

click on the Search tab on the left and the click Bulk Search ... there copy&paste the list of the domains that they are to be changed

after you click Search , the panel on the right will be populated by only the chosen domains to which you can then apply the preferred action

if you are planning to do changes regularly , it is a good idea to use Profiles ... it is very easy ... you just make a Profile (with the autorenew , nameservers , forwarding , etc choices you want) and then ... either add/delete domains to the profile ... change a parameter of the profile (eg. the nameservers to different parking companies) ... or move all the domains in the profile to another profile with one click
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-name-discussion/541976-godaddy-auto-renewal-and-authorisation-code.html

to set up a Profile , click on Preset Profiles on the left (under Organize Tab) and then click on Add Preset Profile on the top right

after you have set a Profile you can use some of the options in the Organize Action (not the Organize Tab on the left)

It also helps if (in advance) you put your domains into folders; I have separate categories for .com, .net etc.

I also have subject categories as well; for example, I have a "prose" and "poetry" domain category, plus one for "my name" category.

It makes domain management so mch easier.
