Finding names that have .net regged but not .COM

Is there any specific website that can show me what is taken in the .net and not in the .com ??

some of the paid subscription sites do - however most of the decent ones dropped or dropping are backordered and pretty well trawled through.

there is some opportunity stilll in names across extensions, like .co.uk and .com, or .fr, .de, .eu and .com, etc - just watch trademarks.

My underrated names tool, which you're currently signed up to beta test, will find these amongst several other types of highly flippable domains in the daily drops pile.

It's possible that once domainers discover these tools, they are unmotivated to share their findings for fear of increased competition. There are only so many taken/developed .NETs that have an available .COM.

there are free out there, like domainnamesoup.com and bizmint.com which is a paid one.

Easy.
Get the .com & .net zone files. You have the lists of all .com & .net domains registered (except the domains with no name servers or those in redemption/pending-delete).
Then you just write a small app to compare both files and you can filter the .net that have no .com equivalent

I have done that kind of stuff, but just because the .net is developed does not mean the .com will get much traffic. At best you have a shortlist that must be further scrutinized.

True, but I think the OP might particularly interested in snatching up the .com complement of a developed .net immediately when the .com drops. You are correct though that in at least 80% of cases the .net owner would rather stick with their current domain than switch to the .com version. However, there are ways of figuring out whether a given .net domain owner likely resides in that other 20%.

Looks like this industry is calling for the "GoDaddy" of underrated domains to come along.

There are no free sites to show your exact need. But you can search www for domain name which is available in .net. You can contact any hosting company for your need, they might help you.
