What's the best domain you acquired for reg fee, and when did you get it?

For me, it would have to be 1015.org or 9699.org; neither are worth too much, but I still feel they'll end up having some value.

I got them both in the past month.

I'm usually not big on the typo scene, but this week I registered one (not trademarked) that generated $100 on it's first full day parked. Pretty exciting!

Same goes for me. I dislike typos, but "reefinance.com" was a must reg. It yields up to $9.95 per click. Unfortunately, there isn't as much traffic as i'd like.

turns out it is spelled foreclosure

but it gets a few type-ins a day and the clicks are valuable, its been making me $20+ per month parked. pretty neat considering i regged it before i learned anything about domaining.

I just reged PalmBayAccountant.com I think that is a pretty good one, apart from that not to sure but there was one reg I flipped in a few days for 60$ so that wasnt too bad neither.

I registered TradeShowItems.com back in around 2000 I think. It was (and still) for my real advertising specialty business. I've had lots of offers to buy it, but nobody mentioned a price. It would take a lot for me to sell it. A couple other I got for reg fee years ago for my advertising specialty business:

I'd have to say one of the best was p*ssy.sc I got it earlier this year for $50 and sold it for about $386... decent profit

Hmmm I guess I could name a few of my LLLL.info -- EIIE.INFO, RRRD.INFO and a few other quad premiums. I'm looking to sell them and hearing about owim.info gives me hope.

The best hand regs would have been all of the .mobi names I registered during the landrush. No single sale was really high, but combined it was a pretty nice ROI. The best returns were off the LLL.mobi domains. I sure wish I had registered more when I had the chance.

As far as the best .com hand reg, I think that would be Move Wireless (dot) com. I have not sold it yet, but it has been getting offers every few months or so since I regged it a couple years ago (the highest was high XXX so far). I won't be selling it anytime soon. I will dev it properly when I get the free time. It is not the most valuable name I own, but one of my favorites
