Help me out here. Price hikes???

When did .net's and .org's become $12.99 at GoDaddy? I search domains often and I do not recall seeing these over the last several days. I don't reg them there, but c'mon $12.99? Are we going back to the $70 a reg days?

I have not found any posts on this, nor have I been able to find anything with a Google search.

This is a business world, if you are not satisfy with godaddy just move to another registrar offering better deal. Not a problem here... don't worry.

I have said for almost a year now, inflation is rearing its ugly head, (your dollar is worth less) and if a domainer has the funds to reg his names out as the price very well will go up.

It might seem unfair, but every company, even Go-addy has its cost of doing business going up. They pay more for everything, just like we do so it is inevitable prices are going to go up.

i think you need to transfer to another registrar of your own choice with the price you like, it's good for godaddy to meet the demands so they're raising the price.

nice to see you here. I wanted to say, its all about coupons or discount codes at Goda-dy. I never pay more than $8.95 with the discount codes,

You can expect every registrar to raise their prices in September-October when the registries all raise theirs prices. This is the second pre approved registry price increase and you can expect the third next year...all part of the deal ICANN approved.

Registrars will start sending out notice to their customers soon. If you have domains you intend to keep long term now is the time to renew for multiple years.

Hey, goodkarmaco haven't heard form you in some time. How are you? Fortunately, I transferred my names to Fabulous over the last year. Sure everyone's costs are up, but 30% some odd increase for a product that has no "overhead"?

I think Moniker cost $7.45
Even at Godaddy, it cost $7.05 with Discount Domain Club membership.
