1&1 private nameservers

i've contacted support and searched the forums but am confused how to register my nameservers (so i can have private nameservers.)
when i change my nameservers to my own domain i get the error
"Subdomains of the original domainname as name servers for the original domainname need a fixed IP! Please refer to the FAQ (keyword: Glue domain)! 1&1 internet."

can anyone walk me through this please?

do you have ips for your nameservers?

no i dont have my ip address, is ther a way to find it?

your hosting company should give you the ips you need for your private nameservers.

problem is 1&1 panel only allows input of nameservers,not the ip's and they have no facility to register nameservers.
