Pool registrars charge nish


I hear from a trusted internet buddy that the registrars pool uses to regged their pooled drops all do so pro bono.

That is to say they dont charge pool anything for registering the names passed to them.

I guess this is feasible seeing that the name pool is sending them has dropped and been re-registered so it has a high chance of being developed by the new owner and thus might give the registrar a new hosting account...

I dunno, whay a you guys think????

I would find someone else to place your trust in. Pool typically gives the registrar that caught the name half of the proceeds from the auction. They took registrars from other drop catchers by paying them higher fees - not asking them to work for nothing (which no registrar in their right mind would do). Pool talked about all of this is in a DNJournal cover story:
