![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | NNNNN.com, Premium LLLL.net Smack Down! Given names in both categories, NNNNN.com and random-letter premium LLLL.net, are expected to be attractively liquid in the not to distant future, which category to you think will out-pace the other in terms of ROI in the next year. I use a year benchmark because domains in both categories can still be caught by mortals in the 2nd-tier drops and had for reg fee today. I've invested in both, but which one do think is going to look better in one year?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I think a lot of people would say that there are more end-users for premium LLLL letter combos. As for just the numbers of them: 100,000 NNNNN.com and just about the same # of premium LLLL depending on how you slice your premium/semi-premium cake...

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Just from watching the tasters'-drops and the domainer-grabs, there is much more competition for premium LLLL.net names. NNNNN.com names are more sticky -- they are easier to grab from the 2nd tier tasters, although I do believe that an NNNNN.com, in 1 year's time, will be trading for more than a premium LLLL.net... IMO. Names in both categories are in some kind of purgatory where to end-users they're all sold out and only available on the aftermarket, but to domainers they are available if you're a drop-catcher...
