Using yourdomain,com or (.) in a sales thread doesn't work folks!

I've seen more and more people using these methods to try and keep their sales thread from showing up when the domain is searched in the SE's. I thought I would let you know it doesn't work. Both methods will still show up most likely on the first page on the two big forums. More or less if you're not willing to sell the name to an end-user for the price listed in a sales post if found then I would suggest not listing it in the title if you have a price. And if it's in the thread the most effective method is to separate the extension from the domain itself entirely. You can't do this in the title but you can in the message itself.

thanks for the heads up, i always thought domain,com is to avoid to be "seen" by search engines.

Just use a title like "Great LLLL.coms for sale" and include the domains sans extension in the thread

I use YourDomain_com often and it hasn't been getting indexed.
