you're right, i just wonder how much it would cost the owner to get his name back after the $5005 auction. it surely wouldn't be fair if all he/she needs to pay is some $80...

I think not, domains do not work like that (this kind of thinking is why a whole lot of .asia domainers are now in a pickle after going on .asia registering rampage), I have sold my fair share of keyword plus tube.com domain names on ebay last year, non got much higher than $40 maximum

As said I have sold my fair share of tube domain names and they were better than the ones people have shared, they fetched $40 at most at ebay auction. Please be sensible when domaining people

the GingerTube.com person would be me....well, i've just sold FrogTube.com & DrumTube.com and believe you me, they've both been sold for far more than $40....it's all about quality....

Ginger: 1. a cooking spice; 2. color: orangy brown; 3. a group of people who's got the orangy brown colored hair; in america, i believe they call them "redhead"... so GingerTube.com would be great for showing videos of redheads...

Seems well overpriced to me. EverythingTube.com is good these days because of youtube.com? But the problem is, it's too similar to youtube.com. You can hardly create a standout branded website with it.

Well that's IMHO. It's possible I'm completely missing something, though.

There are quite a number of developed & branded KeywordTube.com sites out there, especially adult ones. Doing a search on Google for *tube.com will bring up about 1,000,000 results: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&r...63&q=*tube.com
